Beautiful, Fixed-In New Teeth in a Single Day

Dr. Warren uses an advanced procedure known as “All-on-4®” to provide you with a full arch of new, fixed-in teeth. Using this method, the need for bone grafting is eliminated in most patients, even in those who experienced extensive bone loss. Your new teeth will be highly aesthetic and totally stable and will not slip or move around in your mouth. They will give you a high degree of chewing power and will look very natural. The special techniques used in the All-on-4 procedure make it possible for you to receive any necessary extractions, have your implants placed and walk with a new set of teeth all on the same day. Dr. Warren loves giving patients new smiles and the increased confidence that comes with that. His standard of care is: “When you smile, no one will know that your teeth are not your own!”

How All-on-4 Work`s

With the All-on-4 procedure, four specially designed implants are used to support a full set of replacement teeth. Dr. Warren will use high-tech diagnostics to locate areas in your jaw where there is sufficient bone volume and density for your implants to be placed. Your implants will be precisely angled for maximum stability, so that they will be able to function as stable anchors for your new fixed-in teeth.

All-on-4 replacement teeth can be crafted from a variety of high-quality materials. Dr. Warren will go over the various options with you and make recommendations based on your situation and budget.

Advantages of All-on-4

There are a number of advantages to full-arch replacement using the All-on-4 technique:

No need for bone grafting

  • Patients who are missing all or many of their teeth will experience deterioration in their jawbone due to lack of stimulation normally exerted through chewing pressure. In the past, many patients needed their jawbone rebuilt using bone graft material before any implants could be placed. Bone grafting would add considerable time to the over implant treatment length, as the grafted area could take several months to fully heal.
  • The All-on-4 procedure uses four specially angled and positioned implants to take advantage of dense areas of bone that are present in almost all patients, even in those who have experienced extensive bone loss. This eliminates the need for lengthy and costly bone grafting treatment in most cases, and makes implant placement minimally invasive for most patients.

Superior chewing power

  • Traditional dentures only give you about 10 percent of normal chewing and biting power, while implant-supported removable snap-in dentures can increase chewing forces to about 60 percent. Comparatively, the All-on-4 procedure raises chewing power to between 80 and 95 percent of that of natural teeth.

No annoying false palate

  • Your new teeth will be firmly fixed to your implants, and do not require a false palate at the roof of your mouth to be held in place. A false palate inhibits your sense of taste and can affect your speech, so you will be able to enjoy your food fully and speak without any hindrance.

Prevention of further bone loss

Normal chewing and biting provide our jawbones with the necessary stimulation to induce continuous repair and regrowth. When teeth are missing, the loss of healthy stimulation causes the surrounding bone to gradually reabsorb back into the body a process known as bone resorption. This loss of structure makes the lower part of the face “collapse” inward, giving the face a shrunken, aged look.

When missing tooth roots are not replaced, as with regular dentures, the bone in the jaws starts to diminish, causing facial sagging and a prematurely aged look. Dental implants can prevent this from occurring.

Traditional dentures do nothing to prevent bone loss, and actually accelerate this process. They fail to provide healthy stimulation of the jawbone. Additionally, as the patient carries out normal activities such as speaking and swallowing, the denture constantly rubs against the bony ridge supporting it, causing irritation and deterioration to the underlying bone that speeds up the bone resorption process.

All-on-4 replacement teeth will provide you with the vital chewing pressure and jaw stimulation that preserve your jawbone, keeping it healthy and regenerating.

Thorough diagnostics

In addition to a comprehensive oral exam, Dr. Warren will take 3D X-rays of your teeth, skull and jaw using our state-of-the-art 3D CT scanner. The detailed, 360° images produced by our scanner provide valuable information which Dr. Warren will use to ensure accurate, precise placement of your dental implants.

In certain instances, Dr. Warren may determine that four implants would not provide adequate support for your denture. When that is the case, Dr. Warren will add additional implants for extra stability and support.
