Veneers are ultra-thin, durable porcelain overlays that are applied to the front of your teeth to correct cosmetic imperfections. They can be used to correct chipped, discolored or misshaped teeth, and can even sometimes be used to correct slightly crooked teeth. If you are not totally happy with the appearance of your teeth, porcelain veneers could be the ideal solution to achieve the bright, radiant smile you’ve always wanted.
Dr. Warren is a highly trained cosmetic dentist and has over 10 years’ experience in placing quality porcelain veneers. He enjoys helping patients improve their smile and uses only the best materials and an excellent dental lab for the most lifelike results. He will take care to ensure that your veneers look beautiful and natural.
Your porcelain veneers will be made by a top-quality lab in Chicago that we have been working with for many years. Using Dr. Warren’s specifications, their skilled technicians will fabricate your veneers using strong and durable, high-quality porcelain. They will handcraft each veneer using multiple layers of porcelain, which results in the beautiful, light-reflecting translucence and natural look of real teeth.
Dr. Warren offers minimal-prep veneers that require only minimal tooth preparation for your veneers to be placed. With traditional veneers, the doctor has to trim away a considerable amount of the surface of your tooth, making space for your veneer. This prevents the final result from being unnaturally thick.
In contrast, the minimal-prep veneers crafted by our cosmetic dental lab are ultra-thin and require only the removal of a very small layer of tooth enamel. Dr. Warren will preserve as much of your natural tooth structure as possible, and with mini-prep veneers you can have a great smile with only a minimal amount of tooth preparation.

Dr. Warren will listen to your concerns and find out what improvements you would like to see in your smile. His warm, comfortable manner will make it easy for you to discuss your smile goals with him and will ensure you are both on the same page regarding your smile makeover.
We will take “smile pictures,” using a digital camera, for a comprehensive smile evaluation. Dr. Warren will also take impressions of your teeth, which he will use to make stone models to send to the lab.
Our high-quality lab will use the models to create a “wax-up,” a life-like replica showing what your new veneers will look like. The wax-up allows Dr. Warren to visualize the finished product and make any needed adjustments. He will also use the wax-up to create the provisionals (temporary veneers) you will wear while your final veneers are being crafted.
Dr. Warren will gently prepare your teeth and take final impressions to send to the lab. Dr. Warren will place your temporary veneers to maintain your appearance and protect your teeth while the lab fashions your final veneers.
We work with an exceptional dental lab in Chicago whose technicians are skilled artists. They will apply special handcrafting techniques that simulate nature, applying high-quality porcelain in multiple layers to develop the translucent effect of natural tooth enamel. They will handcraft your veneers with great detail, so that they look natural and fit well.
When your veneers are ready, Dr. Warren will have you come back to the office for their placement. This is a comfortable, gentle procedure. You will walk out of our office with a beautiful new smile.

This patient was unhappy with his stained teeth. To improve his smile, porcelain veneers were placed on his front six teeth. The lower front teeth were later enhanced with six porcelain veneers as well.
This patient had neglected her teeth and was unhappy with the toll this had taken on her mouth. The treatment involved three root canals to remove all of the decay and all six upper front teeth were restored with all-ceramic crowns.
Dr. Warren provides dental bonding as a short-term fix for teeth that have small imperfections such as chips, ridges or gaps. In certain situations, dental bonding may provide just the solution you are looking for. However, compared to porcelain veneers, the tooth-colored material that is used for bonding is not as durable and tends to discolor over time. It also loses its luster and does not respond as well to polishing. Veneers do not have these disadvantages and are a better solution over the long term.
