Until recently, traditional dentures have been the only option for patients needing to replace a full arch of missing teeth. While they can provide some chewing power and improve your smile, they have numerous disadvantages. Dentures lack chewing power and stability.
They can make clicking noises while you speak or eat, and can even fall out when you sneeze or laugh. Dentures rub against and irritate the bone in your jaw, and will accelerate bone loss, giving your face an aged look. Over time, progressive bone loss will cause your dentures to become loose, so they must be repeatedly relined and refit.
All of these disadvantages can be avoided by using implants to support and stabilize dentures. Implants provide maximum stability and increased chewing power. Depending on your needs, Dr. Warren can provide you with dentures that are permanently fixed-in, or he can give you snap-in, removable dentures. He can also use dental implants to stabilize your existing dentures.
Dr. Warren has received hundreds of hours of specialized training in implant placement, including advanced training at the prestigious McGarry Implant Institute. He is experienced in providing implant-supported dentures that are strong, long-lasting and look very natural.

Dr. Warren can provide you with a stable, natural-looking set of replacement teeth that is either permanently fixed into your mouth, or removable by you as desired. In order to provide you with top-quality implant-supported dentures, Dr. Warren teams with a trusted oral surgeon and his favorite lab to ensure the most comfortable, efficient procedure and beautiful, natural-looking restorations.
Dr. Warren will take particular care with the design and craftsmanship of your restoration. Depending on your preferences, he can make your new implant-supported set of teeth from strong, medical-grade acrylic or he can use high-quality porcelain (such as ultra-strong and lifelike zirconia porcelain), for superior strength and beauty.
Dr. Warren can give you a full arch of stable, beautiful new teeth using the All-on-4 technique. This method makes it possible for you to receive any necessary extractions, have your implants placed and new teeth attached, all during a single treatment session. In just one day you can walk out of our office with a functional new set of temporary teeth (closely resembling the look of your new teeth), that you will wear while your finals are being crafted.
When your implants have healed, Dr. Warren will attach your final lifelike replacement teeth and you will have a permanent, beautiful new smile. In most cases, the advanced All-on-4 technology does away with the need for bone grafts, even in patients who have substantial bone loss. Dr. Warren uses four implants strategically placed at predetermined angles in areas of the jaw where the bone density and volume is optimal. Depending on the circumstances, Dr. Warren will sometimes use additional implants to guarantee stability.
As a more economical alternative, Dr. Warren can provide you with implant-supported removable dentures. He will place a series of implants—usually at least two on the bottom arch and three or four on the top—to provide stability. Your denture will be held in place by snaps that attach securely atop your implants and on the underside of your denture. You will be able to remove it at any time.
Your new dentures will be completely stable and will not need adhesives to prevent slipping. You will get a significant boost in chewing power and your smile will look great!
Dr. Warren can also retrofit your existing dentures with special snap-in attachments so that they are supported by dental implants. This will fully stabilize your denture so that it will not move around in your mouth. It will also increase your chewing power so that you will be able to eat more of the foods you like.
Implant-supported dentures have many advantages compared to traditional dentures. They are fully stable in your mouth and do not make disturbing noises while you eat or speak. They also provide greatly improved chewing power. Unlike traditional dentures, most implant-supported dentures do not require a fake palate at the roof of your mouth. Your sense of taste is therefore not inhibited and you can enjoy your food fully.
